Happy New Year everyone!
I hope you are all having fun ringing it in.. I'm in Barcelona and the celebrations are non stop over here!
I can't believe 2015 is over already. Where did it go? Time has just flown by!

I'm not one for looking back on the past. I tend to live my life today and for the future however I decided to reflect back on 2015 as I believe it was my best year yet.

Looking back this time last year, I never imagined, not even in my wildest dreams that all that happened me would happen.
It started in Sydney, Austrailia where I rang in the New Year with one of my best friends. It was such a magical experience. After travelling a little more around Austrailia, jumping off a few planes (as you do), we headed home.

Things spiralled after that.. It started with a nomination for 'Milliner of the Year' at The Irish Fashion Innovation Awards which included a feature on RTE's Nationwide,
Boutiques and Departments stores across Ireland and the UK began stocking my designs including Arnotts in Dublin and Serendipity in Kilkenny.

Winning Best Dressed Lady at the Cheltenham Races was a life changing experience. It wasn't even in my wildest dreams.. I genuinely didn't even imagine it.
Even when it happened, I still didn't realise what a big deal it was. In a matter of two weeks, I went from working on my own to employing 4 people. It soon sunk in!
It's a period in my life I actually cannot remember. Everything happened so fast. I still pinch myself every time I think of it.

The excitement didn't stop there. Celebrities such as Vogue Williams, Sile Seoige & Pippa O'Connor were wearing my designs, Alex butler won 'Best Dressed Lady' at the Galway Races, Sarah Cass won Best Dressed at the Dublin Horse Show - both wearing my hats. I just couldn't believe all this was happening. It was all I ever wanted for my business. To have the Best Dressed Lady at Galway Races wearing your hat is the icing on any milliners cake.

In September I was awarded 'Leitrim's Best Young Entrepreneur' and the Regional Winner of 'Ireland's Best Young Entrepreneur'.

It sound a little cheesy but these experiences have completely changed my life.
