Hi everyone, I hope you're having a great week! The last couple of weeks have been super busy with many new projects happening including my latest win as Leitrim's Best Young Entrepreneur. If you follow me on Snapchat, you will know I was in Spain for a few days. The opportunity came up a few weeks ago to go and needless to say, I jumped at the chance! As you can see from the pictures, we stayed in Marbella. It's a beautiful city with never ending beaches, delicious restaurants and cute Spanish shops. We spent most of our days relaxing by the beach, going for long walks, eating, eating and more eating! I'm always a little apprehensive going away and leaving work. I'm not sure why (You would think I was gone for a month!) but I now realise it's so important to detach for a few days and relax. My Mum insists you can get more work done on a week's holiday than if you were in the studio and it's so true. I came back feeling totally refreshed, bursting with energy and ready for the next step! As you all know, I love any excuse to dress up so each night we went for dinner, I wore some of my favourite dresses. The first dress was a full length orange dress by Jaeger. I bought it two years ago for a wedding in Cyprus. I didn't end up wearing it as it was a little too hot to wear but it was perfect for last week in Marbella where the temperature was 25-30 degrees. (The collages in this post are random snaps I took on my phone!) My second dress was a mint off-the-shoulder dress from River Island. I love these style dresses! It also came in coral and a few other colours this season. My raspberry/gold dress was from one of my favourite boutiques called 'Kabuki Boutique' in Carrick-on-Shannon. If you've ever visited the 'What Jennifer Wore' page where I give a brief outfit description of all of my outfits, you will see how obsessed I am with the boutique! I adore all their dresses and this little number was no different. The dress is a bodycon style. I have to say I am not normally a fan of bodycon.. In fact, I hate them on me (Just a personal thing, they're fab on other people) but the fabric in this dress was nice and thick which gave me a smoothish look (It didn't cling in all the wrong places!) This long champagne/gold dress is from River Island about 5 or 6 years ago. It is the most comfortable dress I have ever worn! I also bought it in coral at the time (You can see a pic of myself and my Dad a few years ago in Spain where I was wearing it) My last dress, i.e. the lime green dress was also from River Island. As I'm writing this, I'm realising how much I must love River Island! This dress is a real party dress - It's boob-tube in style, nipped in under the bust and kicked out at the waist. I wore it with this glitzy clutch from Monsoon/Accessorize. There you have it - Some of my outfits from my holiday!
I have some more pictures on my camera which I will be sharing on my Instagram over the next few days. I hope you're having a great week! Jennifer xox
