The fashion, fun and atmosphere at the Dubai Duty Free Derby fulfilled all expectations yet again. Yesterday, myself and my friends Lorraine and Claire headed to the Curragh Racecourse in Kildare for Ladies Day. When we entered the main gates to the Racecourse, we were blown away by the amazing style! Last week, I wore this cream skirt to Royal Ascot (You can read that blog posthere). I was dying to wear it again and where better than the Derby! To change the look a little, I wore a pink top (instead of red). I also made a new pink hat which had gold beaded lace, pearls and pink flowers. I purchased both the skirt and top in ‘Allicano’ in Dublin – a boutique I have just recently discovered and have completely fallen in love with! I got my hair and make-up done in Deane Hair Design in Kildare town. I cannot praise these girls enough. My hair tends to be quite flat on my head (even though I have tons of it). It also doesn’t hold a curl very well (even though it’s naturally curly) however the girls in Deane hair really worked their magic - My hair had loads of volume and a nice natural curl which stayed in place all day. They also have a very talented make up artist (Rebecca) working in their salon. I saw loads of ladies leaving with beautifully made up faces so needless to say, I couldn’t resist getting my make up done too! The make up was applied so perfectly and lasted right through the day (Even my lipstick stayed on which never normally stays!) We really enjoyed the day! Here are a few quick pictures... Did you go to the Derby? What did you think of the style?
