Hi everyone, I'm back again with another blog post to share the details of my outfit from Ladies Day at Royal Ascot 2019! Another amazing day at Royal Ascot - It really is one of my favourite races to attend! Here's all the details you need to know: Dress: Phoenix V is a brand I have loved for so long. When Phoenix V first opened their boutique in Cork a couple of years ago, I purchased one of their dresses for the Dublin Horse Show. Their dresses are made from beautiful fabrics with the most ornate detailing on them. I spotted this dress in their Dublin shop a few days before Ascot and knew I would love it. As some of you may know, Royal Ascot have a strict dress code. One of the rules is that a ladies dress must have straps of 1" of thicker. Of course, the dress I fell in love with is an off-the-shoulder dress but I couldn't leave it behind! Instead, I made two straps in the colour of the dress and pinned them in for the day. My dress was made from an off-white crepe fabric with 3D lace detailing in green and yellow. I have to say, I absolutely loved it - I hope you did too! Hat: At Royal Ascot, anything goes! When it comes to hats, the bigger the better so I decided to really get creative with the detailing on the hat. I blocked a really simple white disc and then kind of lost the run of myself with the flowers, leaves and quills. I even added in a little green bird for effect too (As I said, anything goes at Ascot!) I've included some close up pictures of the hat in the pictures below. Accessories: The dress and hat were quite detailed so I decided to keep the rest of my accessories as simple as possible. Shoes: My shoes were my trusty nude Jimmy Choos. They are without a doubt the most comfortable shoes I own (hence why you always see me wearing them!). Clutch: My clutch was my nude one Jimmy Choo - Simplistic, coordinated with my shoes and fits just about everything I need. Jewellery: I don't tend to wear much jewellery when I'm wearing hats unless the hat is very simple. For Ascot, I wore my little Chanel earrings and bracelet.
