What a day! Ladies Day at Cheltenham is always one of my favourite days at the Races. It's one of the first Ladies Days of the year and you all know me well enough at this stage - Any excuse to dress up! The theme for Ladies Day in Cheltenham is usually based around colour so this year I went with a bright green cape jumpsuit. It's part of a new collection, launching in my Boutique in May which I think you are all going to love! The pieces are so striking. I just loved the effect of the cape at the back. We weren't supposed to receive anything from this designer until May but of course, impatient me had to beg them for one of the pieces. I just fell in love with the bright green colour. It's beautifully cut. For my hat, I was a little unsure what colour to put with the green. I'm a big fan of gold and green or pink and green but I didn't have any new fabrics in those colours and I felt I wanted something different. On the Friday before the Races, we got this beautiful purple silk fabric in. I don't think I've ever worn purple and green together before but I thought why not! I blocked the purple hat and began to trim it. Here's how it turned out... I have to say, I really loved how it turned out (Self praise is no praise!). I thought the colours worked beautifully together and the introduction of the applique married the colours together well. For my accessories, I decided to keep them as simple as possible, opting for nude shoes and a nude clutch (The same ones as I wore with my cream outfit on Day 1 of Cheltenham). We had such a wonderful day. I got to meet so many ladies - The style was absolutely amazing! Rozanna Purcell was the judge for Best Dressed Lady. How AMAZING did she look in this coral jumpsuit? I fell in love with it immediately. I'm a big jumpsuit fan so as you can imagine, I loved it! Una O'Farrell Feeney from Coalisland, Co. Tyrone, was the winner of the Best Dressed Lady. I adored her outfit - So classic and elegant. The whole outfit was so perfectly finished. Her hat, dress and shoes co-ordinated so well. She won a prize worth over €11,000, including a Boodles designer necklace worth over €2,200. Amazing! Cheltenham 2017 you sure didn't disappoint! It's over (for me) for this year but I'm looking forward to next year already! Jennifer xo P.S. I have some more photos and videos from Ladies Day on my Snapchat if you would like to see more.
