Hi everyone, I hope you're having a lovely Saturday! Yesterday I was at a wedding in the Landmark Hotel in Carrick-on-Shannon. I received lots of lovely messages and comments on Social Media about my outfit so I thought I would share all the details here... The DressMy dress was handmade by a Canadian designer whose pieces we stock in my Boutique. It's made from a beautiful 'scuba' fabric. I'm not sure if that's the correct name for it but I am obsessed with this fabric for dresses. I've worn a few pieces like this before. The fabric hugs your figure nicely without being too 'clingy' (I am allergic to clingy fabric). The colour of the dress on the label was 'coral' but it's quite a red-coral if you ask me! It was also originally a full length dress but I cut it to a 7/8 length as I felt full length was too much for this particular occasion (This also meant that I had spare fabric from the dress to make the hat - Win win!) The HatIf I'm honest, my intentions for this hat was something small, nothing too crazy but you know me, once I start, I can't stop. It was one butterfly, two butterflies then turned out to be 50! I haven't really worked with butterflies before but this hat got a lovely response from you guys so you can expect to see more butterfly hats over the next few weeks! Here's a picture of it up close... The bagThe hat did a lot of talking with this outfit so I decided to keep my shoes and clutch very simple. There was black detailing on the butterflies in the hat so I chose a simple black clutch from my Boutique and black patent pointy toe shoes. Jewellery and AccessoriesThe outfit didn't need any more accessories (I had to stop somewhere, eh!) however I love when I take my hat off to wear some other type of accessory such as earrings or a necklace. I brought these 'Alice' earrings with me so I could pop them on when my hat came off. Make-UpRoisin from 'Make Up Me Beautiful by Roisin Dolan' did an amazing job on my make up. Roisin works with me in my Boutique during the week and is an AMAZING make-up artist at the weekends! My lip colour was a gorgeous strong coral colour. I picked up the lipstick in the pharmacy that morning. It was '430Hot 'n' Spicy' from Catrice. I also popped on some of my favourite Chanel lipgloss over it in 'Rouge Coco Gloss #738' PerfumeMy perfume was Coco Chanel - My favourite smell in the whole wide world! NailsI am very boring with my nails (My nail technician Joanna always gives out to me, hehe!) It's always round nails in bright red. I've been getting them done for as long as I can remember in 'Beauty by the Shannon' in Carrick-on-Shannon. We had such a lovely day. Huge congratulations to Emma and Kevin - Thank you so much for having us part of your special day! If you've anymore questions, please don't hesitate to ask. You can comment on my Social Media or send me a message on Snapchat (It's the best way to et to me directly). Hi Jennifer I've just come across your website here on Facebook and I must say I'm blown away by your style you have in your boutique. Can you help me I'm by no means slim as my chest size is 38 F and .I'd be a 14 to 16 in dress size! Not that to be very honest I've only ever worn one dress and that was my wedding dress. My brother is getting married the 15th of September and I'd love something really glamorous and stylish as I love my style. Could you help me Jennifer pretty please💝. Kind Regards Michelle
