Accommodation in Cheltenham during raceweek is never easy to find. It's usually quite expensive and if you're booking last minute like me, you really run into trouble! Last Sunday I still hadn't gotten my accommodation sorted (We were flying to Cheltenham Monday morning) so pressure was on big time! Normally, when I find a nice place to stay, I tend to go back every year as it's much easier than trying to find somewhere new all the time, especially when all we want it a clean bed and a hot shower. Over the last number of years, we stayed in the same B&B in Cheltenham - It was located near the racecourse, the land lady was lovely, exactly what we wanted. This year we went to book it again but the lady who did B&B had moved so we were on the hunt for something new. I started a little search on Sunday night on www.airbnb.ie. If you follow me on Snapchat you will know this didn't go to plan initially but to cut a long story short, I came across the beautiful house in these pictures. The panic was on to get something booked so I really wasn't going to be fussy. I didn't even look through the pictures on the website. All I saw was that it got 5* reviews and it was 20 minutes from the racecourse - that was enough for me! When myself and my Mum landed to the gates of the house, we were totally blown away. I'm sure you can tell from the pictures how incredible this home is. The pictures don't even do it justice. It was amazing! I did a little tour on my Snapchat (My Snapchat username is 'JenniferWrynne' if you would like to say hello) and loads of you were asking me about it. The house aka 'The Old Rectory' is located in a little village in the Cotswolds called 'Withington' approx 20 minutes from Cheltenham town. We usually rent a car when we are in the UK. If you're staying this far from Cheltenham, I would definitely recommend renting a car. It's never too expensive - A lot cheaper than getting taxis everywhere. Here are some pictures of the house.. We were so lucky to find such a little gem. It was definitely the nicest B&B we've ever stayed in!
