"I own too much black" - Said no woman ever! 

When I received this Carrie Bradshaw inspired tulle skirt from the lovely ladies in The Boudoir, I immediately fell in love. With its little silver sparkles and satin waistband, I knew it was going to be something I would wear a lot.. It's already gotten outings twice this year already! 

For this look, I decided to wear a black off-the-shoulder top.. I thought about adding red/pink/silver but you never can go wrong with black on black. 
There are so many advantages to wearing black; It's timeless and classic. It works with every skin tone, it's figure-flattering and most importantly (well for me anyway), it camouflages any stains (The tea falls on me I swear!) 

The first night I wore it (Pic above), I didn't bother with a necklace but for our last night in Barcelona, I wore this sparkley necklace from Betty & Biddy. The jewels in the necklace picked up those in the skirt, adding an extra bit of glam!

It's back to the grindstone now.. Although I would love few more days away, there's something nice about getting back to normality.
