I got asked recently why I don't wear jewellery. I hadn't really thought about it until somebody commented on it (Thank you for your feedback!) so for this post, I thought I would go with the biggest piece of jewellery in my box!
After all... 'Life is too short to wear boring jewellery!'
One of my favourite dresses in my wardrobe at the minute is this black dress from River Island.
As we all know, you can never go wrong with an LBD (little black dress) and when you can wear it as a top, the possibilities are endless! :-)
Jumpsuits - Whatever your feelings are on them, we cannot deny, they are very much on trend at the minute.
When you buy skirts, trousers and tops, you can mix and match them so you find the best fit. Jumpsuits on the other hand have to fit the whole body and can therefore be restrictive for women with less proportionate bodies.
Last week, I went to an event in The Meyrick Hotel on Eyre Square in Galway.
Having lived in Galway for a few years, I can't believe I never went there before. Such a beautiful hotel, located right in the middle of the city centre with the most beautiful decor.. Not to mention the food - Yum!
Cocktail dress code etiquette is a way of stating the dress code that is suitable for the evening; more formal than casual clothes and less formal than evening wear (i.e. black tie).
Traditionally, a cocktail dress’s length is to the knee, but of course you can go for something a little shorter if you wish.. Short, strapless styles can also look great!
You're very welcome to my blog - A compact diary of my work, travels and my passion for fashion!
I hope you enjoy it,
