I hope you are having a great week!
Last week, myself & Fiona McGuire shot some looks in ‘The Dock’ in Carrick-on-Shannon.
The Dock is housed in the beautiful 19th Century former Courthouse building, overlooking the River Shannon. It has 100+ seat performance space. It offers something for everyone, from performances, exhibitions, classes, workshops and of course, a great place to take photos!
You may notice from recent race meetings, weddings etc that baby blue is a very popular colour at the moment. After seeing baby blue on Vogue Williams at Fairyhouse Races this year (You can read the blog post here), I really love it.
The dress that I am wearing in these pictures is from Kabuki Boutique. It has a pearl and diamante band on it which I love. I decided to go with cream and silver accessories to keep in line with the bright theme. It’s a perfect dress for a Wedding guest or a day at the Races.
My clutch is from Irish designer Pauric Sweeney. Most of my bags/shoes are quite simplistic - I feel you can get so much wear from them when there isn’t too much detailing going on! I wore this silver clutch to the Cheltenham Races earlier this year. It’s a great piece to have in your wardrobe.
What do you think of baby blue? Is it a colour you wear often?
Let me know your thoughts!
