I hope you're having a lovely weekend.
Yesterday I went to a wedding with my friends. If you read my previous blog post 'Lifting our spirits for Spring!', you may have noticed I've become a little obsessed with the colour raspberry!
Come Spring time, bright vivid colours will be embraced from high street to high fashion - The very thing to lift our spirits!
One of my favourite colours for next season is raspberry. Whether you're preparing for a Spring wedding, a day at Leopardstown Races or a night out with the girls, it's the perfect colour to wear!
I recently posted a picture on facebook asking your opinion on over-the-knee-boots.
It got a mixed reaction - I think it's fair to say, you either love them or hate them!
While I fully agree that these style boots can veer into Pretty Woman territory if they’re not styled properly, I have to admit I love them!
The last stop on our travels was the beautiful city of Melbourne to visit our friend Lisa!
Melbourne was named the world’s most liveable city in the world last year and I can see exactly why. It is famous for its hidden laneways, which not only play host to some of the city’s best bars, shops and cafes but also to some of the best street art on the planet. The city offers a blend of sport activities, live music, and breathtaking cultural and heritage monuments. It has an electric atmosphere which completely left me floored!
The beginning of 2015 was a truly unforgettable experience for me as I spent it under the spectacular view of Sydney’s fireworks display. It was like a festival of fire across the midnight sky!
The eyes of over a billion people worldwide turn to Sydney Harbour on New Years Eve, not only because its the first major NYE display but because it is undoubtedly one of the best in the world!
Myself and Lorraine were completely mesmerised by it all (She nearly passed out before 12 o'clock with excitement - Hehe sorry Lor!)
I hope you all had a lovely Christmas and New Year.
As you may know, I was away for a few weeks - travelling around Asia & Austrailia with one of my best friends. We had the most amazing time!
Our first destination was Thailand.
Thailand is undoubtedly one of the most incredible places in the world.
It is a place of fearless action, vibrant surroundings and inescapable beauty. I found myself in shock that the experiences were real. Taking selfies with tigers, sitting on the back of the largest land animal in Asia, lady boys and cabaret shows, rats the size of cats, multiple beaches, people slitting their tongues as part of their religion, tuc tucs being the main method of transport, the craziest arrangement of electricity wires, full moon parties, scorpions for lunch, the most beautiful collections of silk fabrics and beading - Thailand certainly satisfied my expectations. Fearless, crazy and beautiful.
After the first few days of our stay in Thailand, I hardly reacted when I saw a family of four on the back of a motorcycle. When we were getting onto a ferry, we walked over a plank of wood, held in place by two tyres (and no railing!) - The balancing act of carrying my 18kg back pack and walking over a wooden plank suddenly became normal.
Thailand is filled with character. The people are friendly, the monkeys are crazy, the beaches are beautiful and the clothes are tiny. I don't really know where to begin or end with this post but I'm hoping the pictures will tell the stories!
Happy New Year everyone, I hope 2015 has been treating you great so far!
This year, I celebrated New Year's Eve in Sydney with one of my best friends. We went to Sydney Harbour bridge to watch the fireworks display - No words can describe how magical it was!
We have been travelling for a few weeks around Asia and Thailand. As soon as I'm home, I hope to write a blog post about my travels. It has been the best experience of my life!
You're very welcome to my little blog - A compact diary of my work, travels and my passion for fashion!
I hope you enjoy it,
