I hope you're having a lovely weekend!
I'm just getting a chance to sit down now to write a blog / share some pictures of my recent weekend away with my Mum.
January is usually so quiet (boring if anything!) so we decided to book a night away together. There are so many beautiful hotels to stay in Ireland - One I keep going back to is the Armada Hotel in Spanish Point, Co. Clare. It's a beautiful hotel, located right beside the Atlantic Ocean.
There is so much to do in Clare and so many good places to eat. When we arrived, we ate in the 'Pearl Restaurant' in the hotel which was delicious (Yummy deserts too!)
The Armada Hotel are 50 years in business and have created their own limited edition whiskey called the 'Armada Whiskey Fifty' - So cool!
The following day, there was a Wedding Fair in the hotel so we took a little peek when we were there. There were loads of amazing business showcasing their work (Dress designers, Jewellery Designers, Florists, Vintage cars etc)
The Armada set up their room to showcase the hotel as a Wedding venue - Soo fab!
Here's a look at what I wore:
I wore a polka dot jumpsuit which I picked up in Penneys a few days before with my trusty black Jimmy Choo shoes and Chanel handbag.
Lots of you were asking what make-up products I used so I'm going to list them here now:
Make-Up Product List:
Primer: 'Charlotte Tilbury' Wonderglow
Foundation: Nars in shade 'Santa Fe'
Concealer: YSL Touche Eclat under my eyes and on any little blemishes on my chin.
Powder: Mac Studio Fix over this (I know this is like a second foundation but I find it really good for setting your make up and holding it in place all day)
Setting powder: 'Georgio Armani Translucent Powder'
Contour & Highlight: Charlotte Tilbury Filmstar Highlighter & Bronzer palette
Blush: 'Pinch O Peach' from MAC
Bronzer: I usually add a little bit of bronzer to my neck. The one that I used is from 'Flormar'
Eyebrows: I used the Dark eye brown kit from the 'Sleek' make up range.
Eye-shadow: I used a mix of the eye shadows from the Bare Minerals 'Nudes' palette. The main shades were; Truffle and Libation.
Mascara: Diorshow by Christian Dior
Lips: Lipliner is 'Redd' from Mac. Lipstick: 'Ruby Rush' from Tom ford
After the wedding fair, we went to see the Cliffs of Moher (My Mum had never been) - Amazing views!
There is so much to do in Clare. We're already looking forward to the next trip!
You're very welcome to my blog - A compact diary of my work, travels and my passion for fashion!
I hope you enjoy it,
