McElhinneys Bridal Room Bloggers Event

Last night was one of the most breathtaking events I have ever attended! 
A few weeks ago, I was sent the most adorable invitation to a Bloggers Event in the Bridal Rooms in McElhinneys, Ballybofey. It was a white box with a huge balloon, adorable invite and fresh flowers.. How could I say no! 

McElhinneys has long been recognised as a destination store for Weddings and I can see why! The store itself is HUGE. It is dedicated to offering the latest collections in womenswear, menswear, lingerie, beauty, bridal, footwear and so much more. The staff are so kind and helpful.. Even at 10pm last night, they had smiles on their faces, literally bending over backwards for their guests.

I got the chance to meet Mr McElhinney himself - What an inspiring gentleman!
He started the business over 40 years ago and even though he employs almost 200 people in the store, it is still very much family run. His team of buyers travel the globe to bring together a selection of handpicked brands that you simply will not find anywhere else. Myself and many other Irish Bloggers were treated to a night in the Villa Rose Hotel in Ballybofey (Opposite McElhinneys). 
It's a stunning hotel with the most amazing spa. Myself and my Mum were treated to facials and back massages - so relaxing. Not a very typical Thursday night!

The event itself was in the Bridal Rooms. McElhinneys offer brides-to-be the ultimate bridal experience in a luxurious and opulent environment surrounded by a fabulous range of wedding dresses, bridesmaid dresses and accessories.
The already exquisite Bridal Rooms have recently undergone a refurbishment and you will see from my pictures below, it is quite simply amazing!

For most brides the anticipation of being in the wedding dress showroom is something they have dreamt of since they were little (Well I know I have!). It's important to try on 100s of dresses to make sure you find 'The One'.
McElhinneys have a HUGE collection of the most fabulous designer wedding dresses. They stock all the leading names such Pronovias, Atelier Pronovias, Ronald Joyce, Justin Alexander, Maggie Sottero, Mori Lee, & Art Couture. Their collection caters for every style, size and budget whether it be a traditional church ceremony, a destination wedding, same sex marriage or a civil ceremony. 

I'm still in awe looking back at all the pictures. It was the most magical experience. I'm so honoured to have been invited and so grateful to McElhinneys for spoiling myself and my Mum. 

I almost forgot to mention my outfit details (Getting a little caught up in the bridal side of things, lol!) 
My skirt is by 'Maje' which I picked up in Brown Thomas earlier this year. 
My leopard print shoes are from Christian Louboutin, a gift I received from my boyfriend. My top is Miss Selfridge and my clutch is from Mango.
