Hi everyone, I hope you're having a lovely Sunday. I'm taking relaxation to a whole new level this weekend. I have a feeling next week is going to be hectic so I'm enjoying every minute I can! Last week, I got lots of lovely messages from you asking what tan, make-up products etc I used for the Races. I took a few pictures here and there for Snapchat but I thought I would go through it thoroughly here on my blog. So here goes..... TanI love chopping and changing tans. I'm a big fan of Wow Brown Tan, Cocoa Brown, Bellamianta and Vita Liberata (The list could go on!). There are just so many fantastic tans on the market. My best friend works in a pharmacy which is dangerous as she is constantly telling us about new tans and ones we 'have' to try out, hehe! Body Tan: For my trip away last week, I chose the Dark Mousse from Bellamianta. If you like a tan that is dark and maintains its colour after a few showers then this is the one for you. There's nothing more annoying that having a beautiful tan and then one shower washes the whole thing off! I usually apply Bellamianta the night before an event and shower it off in the morning. It's a beautiful golden brown colour. Legs Tan: When I'm wearing a dress, I always pop a little bit of Sally Hanson on my legs. While the Bellamianta gives a beautiful colour, I find that Sally Hanson gives a nice airbushed finish to the legs (especially if you're like me - always have cuts and bruises!) I don't use this on my upper body though as I find it can sometimes mark your clothes. Extra Glow: For an extra glow around my shoulders and neckbones (particularly when i'm wearing an off-the-shoulder dress), I love to use a tiny bit of Cocoa Brown Golden Goddess Oil. It's a dry oil so it's not messy. I apply it with a make up brush. Make Up Product ListSkinAs I mentioned on my previous blog posts, it was scorching hot at Ascot (It reached 33 degrees on Wednesday!) so I needed good coverage on my skin that would last all day and throughout the heat. Here's a list of what I used (and picture above) Primer My first step is to use the 'Charlotte Tilbury' Wonderglow on my skin. I always pop a tiny bit of this on my skin before foundation as it gives a lovely glow. I tend to have quite oily skin but this is not a 'greasy' product if that makes sense?! It just gives a lovely glow. Foundation My go-to foundation at the moment is Georgio Armani Luminous Silk in shade 3.5. I have been using this for approx 12-18 months now and I don't think I'll be changing anytime soon. It gives great coverage to the skin but doesn't feel too heavy or cakey. Concealer I used the YSL Touche Eclat under my eyes and on any little blemishes on my chin. Powder I used Mac Studio Fix over this. I know this is like a second foundation but I find it really good for setting your make up and holding it in place all day. Setting powder To set my make-up, I used the 'Georgio Armani Translucent Powder' - This stuff is genuinely amazing! I've heard lots of bloggers chatting about this. I've never owned a translucent powder before this one so I have nothing to compare it to but it definitely works for me. My make up literally doesn't budge with it on. Contour I used Kate Mossel contour kit from Rimmel. Highlight My favourite highlight is 'Lulu' from the Pippa palette. I popped a little bit of this on the top of my cheeks, down my nose and the top of my lip. Blush My fav blusher is 'Pinch O Peach' from MAC Bronzer: I usually add a little bit of bronzer to my neck. The one that I used is from 'Flormar' EyesEyebrows I used the Dark eye brown kit from the 'Sleek' make up range. Eye-shadow: I used a mix of the eye shadows from the Bare Minerals 'Nudes' palette. The main shades were; Truffle and Libation. Mascara I used a black Mascara from 'Catrice' LipsI used a few different lipsticks and lipglosses over the days. Here's the list: Day 1: Penneys Nude Lip Liner, MAC Lipstick in shade 'Fanfare' and Chanel Gloss 'Rouge Coco Gloss #738 Day 2: Penneys Nude Lip Liner, Rimmel Lipstick in shade 'Salute 200' and Chanel Gloss 'Rouge Coco Gloss #738 Day 3: Penneys Nude Lip Liner, Rimmel Lipstick in shade 'Salute 200' and Dior Lipgloss #686 There you have it! That's all the make up products I used for the week.
