What an amazing week at Punchestown!
I'm just home from another great day at the Races. Today was the final of the Bollinger Best Dressed Lady competition in Punchestown. There were four Ladies Days over the course of the week but today was the big one. The style was INCREDIBLE!
If you're following me on Snapchat, you will have gotten a taste of all the style today. I don't know how the judges narrowed it down to the finalists. There were so many beautiful ladies to choose from.
I decided to wear this Indigo coloured dress from my Boutique. I love dresses that have detailing on the sleeves so this little number was an immediate yes for me.
My Mum picked me up new silk fabrics yesterday and one of them worked perfectly with the colours in the dress. It was a multicoloured silk with a horse pattern on it - Perfect for the occasion!
Here's an upclose of the pattern..
Vogue Williams and Bairbre Power were the Judges of the Best Dressed Lady competition. Here is a picture of the finalists....
The winner of the best dressed lady was one of my favourite ladies Annmarie Phelan. She looked amazing in an orange and navy outfit. Annmarie's prize is a chic VIP trip for two to the Champagne region in France, with their own chauffeur and dinner at a Michelin-star restaurant, as well as a year’s supply of Bollinger champagne. Sounds pretty good, eh?!
Here are some more pictures from the day...
It was a fantastic day. I'm looking forward to next year already!
