Last weekend I attended The 'Irish Tatler Woman Of The Year Awards' in the Intercontinental Hotel to celebrate the extraordinary achievements of women, hosted by Norah Casey. These remarkable awards celebrate the outstanding achievements of women in Business, Entrepreneurship, Music, Literature, Fashion, Film and Drama, Sport, Entertainment, Public Life and more. It was my first time to attend these awards. I was completely blown away by the night. The woman were so inspiring and the style was amazing! I was honoured to be asked to make three hats for three successful women in Irish history. My three ladies were Sonia O'Sullivan, Marion Finucane and Maire Geoghan Quinn. Below are the three hats I made... (The theme was red, black and gold) My dress from the night was from one of my favourite department stores; McElhinneys in Ballybofey. I attended an event up there a few weeks ago (You can read my blog post on that here). Of course, I couldn't resist a little bit of shopping. I fell in love with this red off-the-shoulder dress. I needed a full lenght gown for the night so it was perfect in lenght and a beautiful colour for this time of year I also wore this cute red headpiece for the night! I hope you enjoyed this post!
