Hello from Ascot! I'm so excited to be back another year at Royal Ascot. It's one of my highlights every Summer and today was probably the most exciting one yet! If you've been following me on Instagram (My username is @jenniferwrynne), you'll know I FINALLY got to see Kate Middleton in the flesh. Star struck was not the word. I have been longing to see her in reality for so long and today was the day! I have no words - She is honestly the most beautiful, flawless human being I have ever met (Ok, I'm slightly obsessed and fan girling big time) but you know what I mean.. Amazing! My dream since I started making hats is to have Kate Middleton wear one of my pieces. Anytime I get asked the question 'Who would you love to wear one of your hats?', the answer has always been Kate. Who knows, maybe one day?! What I woreAnyway, less of the fan girling - back to business! Here's a little look at what I wore today.... Dress: My dress was a gorgeous polka dot dress from The Pretty Dress Company. Many of you will know, when I had my Boutique, I stocked The Pretty Dress Company dresses. They were undoubtedly one of my best selling brands - A great price for beautifully made and designed pieces. They have so many different styles which suit every body shape and size. You can click here for a link to my exact dress or browse their stunning dress collections on www.theprettydresscompany.com Hat: My dress was called the 'Hepburn' dress so for my hat, I loved the idea of going with an Audrey Hepburn style or vintage style hat. I thought the boater would be a fab style with the dress so I kept it quiet simplistic going with a white boater hat, black trim and little bow detailing on the back. I also made a tie for around my pony tail from black satin fabric to add to the look. It's a little different for me - I hope you like it?! Bag: My bag is from YSL. I've had this clutch for 5 or 6 years now. It was one of my best investment pieces. I honestly wear it so much - It goes with everything! Shoes: My shoes are from Jimmy Choo - A 30th birthday gift from my Mum & Dad. I have to say, I absolutely adore them and guess what... They're actually very comfortable! Today is the first time I wore them. I wore them for the entire day and they were a dream - No sore feet so win win! Lipstick: Lipliner: Redd from Mac Lipstick: Ruby Rush Pictures of my hat:Myself & my gorgeous Mama! The Royal ProcessionThis is a very quick and short blog post (I'm currently waiting for my tan to dry for tomorrow, hehe!) so I'll be back on my blog tomorrow with a new post from day 2 at Ascot!
In the meantime, be sure to follow me on Instagram stories (My username is @jenniferwrynne) for updates from the day. I'm super excited for day 2! I hope you enjoyed this blog post, Jennifer * Thank you to The Pretty Dress Company for partnering with me on this post *
