Another jumpsuit.... What a surprise!
I don't know how or why but I pretty much wear Jumpsuits to every single event I have on these days! I'm not sure if it's because I feel they suit my shape or because they're super comfortable or perhaps it's because, they make my tanning regime a lot simpler, I just always seem to be wearing one!
When I spotted this beautiful one shoulder Jumpsuit on a recent buying trip for my Boutique, I knew I had to buy it. And you ladies seemed to love them!
As always, we only buy very small quantities for the Boutique (We like to try keep the pieces as exclusive as possible) and they sold out the very first day we put them on the floor. Crazy!
Anyway..... Getting back to why I'm writing this blog, I thought it might be a good idea to chat through a few different hat styles you could wear with this Jumpsuit.
When I'm wearing Monochrome, I either:
a) Stick to all Monochrome Accessories or
b) Add a strong punch of colour (E.g. Red, Pink or Yellow)
For this look, I decided to stick with Black and White but I'm going to share some alternative hat ideas with you aswel.
Hat Option 1: 'Rosanna' in Ivory / Black
For this photo, I chose the 'Rosanna' Hat in Ivory / Black. It's one of the classic pieces in my collection at this stage and a firm favourite of my own.
I love big hats, I feel they frame my face better (I have quite a round face so I find the bigger hats suit me better)
It's a beautiful ivory sinamay hat with black embellished fabric in the middle. To finish it, I used black silk flowers, feathers and pearl trim. The clean lines of the hat resemble the clean lines on the Jumpsuit. I thought it was a great option! Would you agree?
Hat Option 2: 'Chloe' in Black
Again, sticking with the Monochrome theme, the 'Chloe' Hat in Black is a great option. It's not as big as the Rosanna Hat but still has the WOW factor!
Hat Option 3: 'Victoria' in Red
As I mentioned, I love to add a strong punch of colour to a Monochrome look so my first choice to put with this Jumpsuit would be the Victoria Hat in Red.
We named this hat the 'Victoria' after Victoria Beckham wore this shape to the Royal Wedding a couple of years ago. It's a beautiful piece which sits confidently on the front of your head.
Hat Option 4: 'Emma' Hat in Red
I've worn the Emma to many events (Picture below of a dress I wore it with recently). It's the most comfortable hat in the world. It's made from felt (super soft fabric) with an upturned brim (which means the hat is turning up, off your face)
It's an extremely versatile hat in red as you could wear it with so many outfits - Perfect with this Monochrome Jumpsuit, Floral Dress (below), a plain red dress, black dress, navy dress, cream dress..... The list goes on!
Hat Option 5: 'Carmel' in Yellow
The Yellow hat might seem like a strange option but I love a burst of yellow to a black and white outfit. Below is a picture of one of the most stylish ladies I know (Lisa from 'Lisa's Lust List' Blog) who won Best Dressed Lady at Leopardstown recently. Her outfit is a little more Charcoal with Black and Yellow but hopefully you'll see where I'm coming from by adding yellow to this look. I LOVE it!

I always decide on my Hat before I choose Jewellery. It's not a rule, it's just something I always do.
If you're wearing a dramatic hat, you don't need dramatic Jewellery. It can be a little too busy. For this look, i.e. the Monochrome Jumpsuit and Rosanna Hat, I think all the Jewellery you need is a nice subtle pair of earrings. Something like our 'Deborah' double pearl earrings would finish the look.
Our 'Deborah' Earrings are available in few colours but our Cream and Black ones would be perfect with this outfit.
Earrings Option 1: 'Deborah' double pearl in Cream
Earrings Option 2: 'Deborah' double pearl in Black
Again, it depends on what Hat you've gone for but our 'Erin' clutch would be a safe bet!
Clutch Option 1: Black 'Erin' Clutch
Clutch Option 1: Red 'Erin' Clutch
Clutch Option 1: Ivory 'Erin' Clutch
So there you have it - A few ideas for choosing Accessories for a Monochrome look.
The ideas are endless. I feel like I could tell you a million more ways how to style it but this blog has to end somewhere!
I hope you found it helpful and as always, please don't hesitate to ask me any questions. You can comment anywhere on my Social Media or drop me a private message on Snapchat (It's the best way to get to me directly!)
